"If you can speak, you can influence. If you can influence, you can change lives.”

Rob Brown

As educators we believe in the value and importance of the spoken word, and in connecting people through story. We strive to promote the art of public speaking and communication and support teachers of this wonderful craft.

What We Do
We are an association for teachers specialising in performance, presentation and communication skills. We provide our teachers opportunities to promote the highest standards of teaching within our discipline. We connect teachers with students across Victoria.

The SDTAV is led by a volunteer committee and represents teachers of voice & speech, communication skills, drama and public speaking.
